In what was supposed to be a competitive race, turned into a laugher. Juddmonte's Close Hatches (First Defense) added her second WAYI win of the year today at Saratoga when she went gate to wire on a sloppy track in the Personal Ensign at Saratoga. Fiftyshadesofhay (Pulpit) was second and Stanwyck (Empire Maker) was third. Princess of Sylmar (Majestic Warrior) could only finish 5th. Ridden by Joel Rosario, she is trained by Bill Mott who won this race last year with 2 time Distaff winner Royal Delta (Empire Maker).
