Jockey Club Gold Cup recap

Returning to the scene of his greatest win the Belmont, Robert S. Evan's Tonalist (Tapit) returned the winner's circle this time in the Jockey Club Gold Cup. Zivo (True Direction) was second and Long River (A.P Indy) was third. Sadly Moreno (Ghostzapper) clipped heels with Wicked Strong (Hard Spun) causing the Travers runner up to lose his jockey Rajiv Maragh (according to his Twitter account Maragh is scheduled to have surgery today on a broken arm, Wicked Strong as of this moment appears to be okay). Moreno was DQ'ed from 4th to last due to that clipping of heels. Mircomanage (Medaglia d' Oro) was eased. The winner was ridden by Joel Rosario and trained by Christophe Clement.
