Top Horses List: Week 8 (Classic Only)

While no new horses join this week's list, there are a couple of changes that might be important as we start to head into the final preps which start in a few weeks. Also I've decided that the Top Horses List will only be the Classic, Distaff and Turf for this year, due to a lack of time. This week's list is Classic only as the Woodward had some BC implications. Here is this week's list.
Rank Horse's Name Trainer Profile
1
Shared
Belief (Candy Ride (ARG))
Hollendorfer

Woodward didn't effect the top four positions.
2
California Chrome (Lucky Pulpit)
Sherman
See #1
3 Wicked Strong (Hard Spun)
Jerkins
See #1
4
V.E. Day (English Channel)
Jerkins
See #1

5
Moreno (Ghostzapper)

Guillot

I was debating on weather to put him this high or not. I decided to do so as Tonalist and Palace Malice seem to be in a little bit of a funk. Even though he caused some bumping down the stretch in Saturday's Woodward, Itsmyluckyday did have to work to get that win.
6
Tonalist (Tapit)
Clement
2 stakes wins at Belmont, but maybe he decides to for a PA Derby rematch with #2? Gold Cup is prob where he's heading though.
7
Palace Malice (Curlin)
Pletcher
He's def heading to the Gold Cup. Ran well in last year's race, and hopefully we see the real Palace Malice on Super Saturday.
8
Itsmyluckyday (Lawyer Ron)

Plesa

Sure he won't the Woodward, which is great. You may be asking why he's so low though? Apperently... he's not BC nominated and it would be very expensive for him to be so. I'm keeping him on this list just in case, but insert sad trombone sound if he doesn't go.
9
Moonshine Mullin (Albert the Great)
Morse

Homecoming bound?
10
Toast of New York (Theywayyouare)

Osborne

Not sure if he'll prep in the US or Europe. Honestly if they want to go to the Classic, another start in the US will be helpful.
11
Zivo (True Direction)

Brown

Saratoga was speed favoring on Saturday, but still did well to finish 4th. Should return to form once they return to Belmont.
12
Majestic Harbor (Rockport Harbor)
McCarthy

Take that last sentence for Zivo, cut Belmont, insert Santa Anita.

Other's Considered: Imperative (Bernardini), Game On Dude (Awesome Again), Departing (War Front), Prayer for Relief (Jump Start)

The next list will be after the PA Derby.
