Zayat Stables' homebred American Pharoah (Pioneerof the Nile) showed that his amazing Triple Crown run did not take anything out of him as he defeated his challengers in the Haskell Invitational. Keen Ice (Curlin) was second and Upstart (Flatter) was third. As usual he was ridden by Victor Espinoza and trained by Bob Baffert.
Out of the mare Littleprincessemma (Yankee Gentleman), American Pharoah has now earned $5,630,300 in 9 starts with 8 of them wins, 0 seconds and 0 thirds.
American Pharoah has earned his place in this year's Classic.
