Pat O'Brien Stakes recap

The defending Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile champion W.C. Racing's Goldencents (Into Mischief) finally won a WAYI prep as he had been very close four times (twice last year and twice this year) when he won the Pat O'Brien at Del Mar. That was done in a track record time being ridden by Rafael Bejarano and trained by Doug O'Niell. Fed Biz (Giant's Causeway) who won the O'Brien last year was second and Silentio (Silent Name (JPN)) was third.
