Fiftyshadesofhay (Pulpit): 3rd in the Fleur de Lis, and won the Ruffian in her last two starts. Runner up in last year's Alabama, but G1 starts haven't been the best. Last Del Mar start was a maiden in 2012 where she finished 4th.

Iotapa (Afleet Alex): Won the Vanity and was 6th in the Humana Distaff. Also picked up a win this year in the Santa Maria. Her synthetic form is pretty good with a runner up finish in the Hollywood Oaks and a win in the Railbird Stakes.

Broken Sword (Broken Vow): 2nd in lone start this year (La Canada). Won the Bayakoa on synthetic last December.

Doinghardtimeagain (Ministers Wild Cat): Won the Great Lady M in her last. Broke maiden on the Del Mar synth in 2012, but last start at the track was a 9th place finish in the Del Mar Oaks on grass. Also won the Hollywood Oaks last year.

More Chocolate (Malibu Moon): First start of 2014. Runner up in this race last year, but couldn't hold that form in her next two starts. Lone other start at this track was 9th place finish in 2012.

Parranda (English Channel): Won the Royal Heroine in her last and was 3rd in the Gamely. This is her synthetic debut. Has done well with her new connections.

Legacy (Sightseeing): Won at Los Alomitos in a listed stakes in her last. Lone graded stakes start was a 6th place finish and doesn't have good synthetic experience.
